Paul Sings to Street Car Passengers in New Orleans
Paul Mc Cartney serenaded unsuspecting street car passengers in New Orleans during his Carnivale visit. Paul, accompanied by wife Nancy and a security guard, hopped aboard a street car—where most passengers mistook him for a street performer. Some even threw money to him.
The UK’s Daily Star quotes 49 year-old commuter Robert Senft, who said: “This guy got on the street car and started singing Beatles’ songs. Everyone was just ignoring him really because there are a lot of buskers in this town. Then we realised it was Sir Paul McCartney and we were just in shock. He started singing along with the whole carriage and taking pictures. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. One of the best days of my life.”
